This memorial website was created in loving memory of our loved one and dear Friend, Susan Janosik who was born in Illinois on June 10, 1954 and entered eternal life on January 30, 2005 at the age of 50. We will remember her forever.
Due to complications with cancer, Susan left this world to join her parents in Heaven on January 30, 2005.
Sue was a fun-loving lady who always made everyone around her smile and laugh. It is difficult to think about Susie without smiling now, even in our time of grief. Her quick wit and sense of humor endeared her to anyone who knew her. The grace and sense of optimism she always portrayed through one difficult time after another has been phenomenal. Sue touched more people than we will ever know. The friendship she gave to those who loved her changed our lives forever.
Sue loved to crochet. She especially loved making baby blankets for friends and co-workers. Playing the piano was also a favorite pastime. Sue helped many organizations with Dachshund Rescue in her spare time.
Sue is met at the rainbow bridge by her two dachshunds. Lady, who went to the bridge in August, 2004, and Max went to the bridge one day before Sue joined them. Sue left behind her four dachshunds: Buddy, 9 years old; Jasmine, 9 years old; Billy, 8 years old; and Amelia, 3 years old. I know Sue, with Lady and Max, all walk in the Glory of Heaven while they look back at us in our grief. Sue is free from her pain and she is at peace. She knew her friends here on earth would care for her remaining pups.
Susie did not have a funeral and I hope that all who visit Sue here will share their thoughts, prayers, comments, tributes and condolences. I look forward to sharing with you memories and stories of Susan, both happy and sad.
This is a permanent memorial for Susan. So please stop by often to visit. We don't have a cemetery to visit or to lay flowers, so come back often, light a candle as often as you wish. Sue will know that her friends have not forgotten her. Please click on the Tributes & Condolences tab to leave your condolences or message. If you have any photos that you would like to share, please let me know.
Susie, you will NEVER be forgotten by your friends. Rest Well, Sue, Until We Meet Again.
Your Loving Friend, AnnaMarie Haden (As a post script, little Buddy, age 9, joined Susan in Heaven only 6 months after Sue left us. Buddy died on July 11, 2005 and now enjoys Heaven with Sue, Lady and Max)

Sue was a friend of a band I played in during the 70's. She was always so supportive of us and took some of the best pictures of me playing drums. I hadn't seen her in many years but thought of her often when I looked at those pictures. Rest in peace...
